Butterfinger Delight

1 box yellow cake mix
1 package of small Butterfinger bars, crushed into bite size pieces
1 can Eagle brand milk
1 large carton Cool Whip

bake cake as directed on box
cut cake into small squares
mix together milk and Butterfinger pieces, fold in Cool Whip
alternate layers of cake and Cool Whip mixture in a trifle dish
